Tour to Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlán for 2 Days

Tour of Lake Atitlán. 07:00 am you will have time to have breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel to take you with the rest of the group and thus start the tour. We will visit 3 towns around the lake, crossing the lake by boat.

SAN JUAN

Visitarán una cooperativa de mujeres que se dedican a la fabricación de textiles; luego, realizarán un recorrido por una galería de arte, donde podrán apreciar diferentes pinturas; además, visitarán una fábrica de chocolate, donde podrán disfrutar de una pequeña degustación de chocolate.

SAN PEDRO LA LAGUNA

Un pueblo lleno de vida que combina de manera única las tradiciones indígenas con un ambiente relajado. San Pedro es famoso por sus impresionantes paisajes, sus calles empedradas y su famoso volcán.

SANTIAGO ATITLÁN

In this town you will be able to share and live with a family that is dedicated to religious syncretism (mixture of religions), later you visit a church or altar where San Simón (Mashimon) is and the guide will explain how and why the Mayan religion still prevails.

3:30 p.m. Tour ends. At the end of the tour, you will board the boat that will take you to Panajachel.

4:00 pm – 4:30 pm. The bus will leave Panajachel bound for La Antigua Guatemala, which will take you to your hotel. This journey lasts approximately two and a half hours, depending on traffic.
