This tour to the Acatenango Volcano is a challenging but rewarding experience, as its ascent is considered one of the most tiring and arduous. Known for its proximity to and spectacular views of Fuego Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in Central America, Acatenango reaches 3,976 meters above sea level, making it the third highest volcano in Guatemala.

The duration of the walk is approximately 7 hours depending on the pace of the group.
